DMM 5010
Museum: Deutsches Museum, Munich
Title: Sector
Inventory number: DMM 5010
Date: To be established.
Material: Brass
Dimensions: Limb length: 118 mm; limb width: 14 mm
Description: See Schneider, 1970, p. 82.
Preliminary examination of the metallic scales: The metallic line is indicated as "Red et Met." Usual astronomical symbols, with upper half engraved on the upper limb, lower half in lower limb. The symbol for mercury is wrongly repeated, and it seems that the instrument maker corrected it with the right symbol for jupiter (see picuture).
